Prepare yourself for something a little different. MUSIC FOR MRI SCANNERS began life in 2001 as a set of compositions by Tom Green (aka Another Fine Day) for the ancillary areas of a new MRI Scanner in the Royal Infirmary, Bristol. The brief was to create a listening experi-ence that would induce feelings of calm and security. There are three pieces on the CD and the accompanying DVD contains 'light paintings' by visual artist and auteur John Rixon who is re-sponsible for visual programming at the innovative Big Chill Festival under the name Amukidi.
